Description
The trail starts from the High Point Trailhead and climbs up around High Point. Most of the trail (through here) has been moved away from the road and now travels along its own singletrack. The trail continues, past the tower, to Jenkins Gap. A little ways after Jenkins Gap, Jenkins Gap Trail will be on the left. Jenkins Gap Trail is the one you'll take, if you intend to camp at James H. "Sloppy" Floyd State Park. Once you pass by Marble Mine Trail, you'll leave the boundary of the State Park. The trail mostly stays on top of the ridge, until it descends down to Mack White Gap.
