Description
This is a north/south trail that is very useful for making loops within the park. It's well shaded and kept wide by mowing. It also stays dryer than some of the other trails (e.g. Wetland Loop) but will collect deep puddles during and after rains. There are a lot of unmarked/unmaintained trails that jut off from this trail, but at least here they are marked as "closed" so navigation is easier. Note that on the trail map posted at the Nature Center this trail ends at the Timber Run. However, as of early 2018 this is where the trail actually goes.
