Log Cabin Hollow FS #1053

Consider parking at FS #1071 since space here is limited. This double wide trail is poorly maintained and washed out in several areas. Occasional downed trees are also present. Descend down into the hollow and find the nearby creek. The creek runs parallel to the trail for much of the course, but does require 4-5 water crossings, especially if rain was recent. As the trail bends north, the hollow opens up into a grassy field which eventually dead ends. A very lush flora exists near the creek, especially in the spring.
