From the east end of the parking lot, the Mesa Trail turns south and climbs gradually up a mesa. There are excellent views of the Rocky Mountains and the surrounding canyons from this sunny trail. The Meadowlark Trail, Greenlee Trail, and Quarry Pass Trail branch off from the path. The trail ends at the edge of the mesa.
