Beware of Alligators!Northwest portion of the trail is currently (11 September 2021) closed due to alligator nesting. This turns the loop into two out-and backs. Starting counter-clockwise from the trailhead is a 2.6mi out-and-back. Starting clockwise from the trailhead is a ~8mi out-and-back. Description
Starting at the parking area off SE 11th Drive, this hike follows a loop counterclockwise through the area. It's hard to get lost hear, so long as you stay on the wide doubletrack and don't venture off into gator territory.
