Sometimes known as Green Shoots or Green Chute, it's all the same trail. After branching off the Bald Knob Ridge Trail, the Green Shoots Trail switchbacks three times before it flattens on the south side of the Bald Knob Ridge. Soon after leveling off the trail crosses Clemons Trail. You'll notice that Clemons Trail was a 4 wd road to reach Bald Knob. Continue past this trail as Green Shoot heads around the southwest side of Bald Knob. After a couple more switchbacks, you'll meet up with Bald Knob Ridge Trail again.
