Twelve Mile Creek Greenway (Town Creek Park)

The Town Creek Park section makes for a nice stroll around a grassy meadow. The trail is bordered by large trees to the north and west and a log cabin to the south. The trail currently connects existing trails in the Prescot neighborhood to Town Creek Park. The trail is paved, providing easy access for strollers, road bikes, and handicapped visitors. The trail will eventually connect to the future Millbridge subdivision trails to the west in Lancaster, S.C. and to the other portion of Twelve Mile Creek Greenway and Twelve Mile Creek Trail. Parking is available at Town Creek Park (4400 Waxhaw-Marvin Road, Waxhaw, NC 28173).
