Indian Pools Trail

The trail is located near the Rancheria campgrounds on the China Peak ski resort. Drive to the back of the property until you see a wooded area behind the employee housing. There is a trail marker, but no trail name. Hike through easy, flat terrain among dense trees, and it'll open up into the steam or pools on the right. The trail is a steady low grade incline to the end. Bring poles if you have them. There are some granite rocks to climb over. The trail opens to a clearing, but if you can find the hidden paths over the big granite rocks, there will be a small waterfall on the other side. You can also bring your fishing gear to catch salmon. The area is gorgeous.
