Valley of Fire is open sunrise to sunset. You need to be in or near your vehicle by sunset. An entrance fee of $8 for Nevada residents or $10 for non-residents is required.

This is a short, easy trail. It goes through a narrow, red sandstone canyon. Some rocks are covered with Native American rock art. Mouse's Tank is at the end of this trail.
Mouse's Tank is a natural water catchment made out of sandstone that holds water. It's best viewed early in the morning or just before sunset. Don't forget to take water with you. It's hot.
