Description
Starting from the eastern end of the trail, you can split off from the Boulevard Trail Connector to this alternative singletrack. You'll hug the side of the hill and soon come to a pretty decent hill climb to the top; watch your step as the trail is narrow at various places with a wooden slat foot bridge placed over a washed out area. Once to the top of the hill, you'll hike through some pines and head back to the Boulevard Trail Connector (Fire Trail) (of course after a few up and downs through different gullies. As you get higher on the side of the hill, you'll come across two different Carroll County USGS elevation survey markers; from these points, you'll have a beautiful view overlooking some of the farmland and Big Pipe Creek.
