Cervidae Peak

The parking lot is located on the right side of the road. From there, you head up from Highway 21. As you start the hike, you'll cross the road and go around the gate. Follow the bulldozed area up for a few hundred feet until you see an opening in the fence on your left. Go through that and prepare for the climb. The trail continues northeast for less than 0.25 miles until it turns northwest and gains the ridge. Follow this up and over and up and over a few false summits until you reach the top where a few taller bushes guard the summit registry. The summit can't be seen until the very last 0.25 miles. The views of the are from the summit are well worth the trip up!
