Point to Point
From the parking lot off Edmands Rd, take Pioneer Trail to Wren Trail to Red Tail Trail north across Edmands Road. Take a sharp left to climb Gibbs Mountain; then hike down the other side and left onto Pine Tree Loop around the southwest corner of Beebe Pond. Bear left onto Flying Squirrel Trail, crossing Broadmeadow Road onto Acorn Trail. Turn left at the four-way junction onto Backpacker Trail, then left onto Acorn Trail (just before Broadmeadow Road) to return to the same four-way junction. Continue straight onto Backpacker Alternate Loop, then left to rejoin Backpacker Trail. At around the 4.5-mile mark, turn left onto Chipmunk Trail, left on Woodchuck Trail for a short stint, and then bear right onto Fisher Trail and make your way towards the northeast corner of the park. Then turn right at around mile 5 onto Jabberwocky and wind your way back towards the southwest turning left onto Baiting Brook Meadows Trail. Finish with a loop northwest of Beebe Pond on Pine Tree Loop to Bear Paw Trail, returning back to the parking lot on Edmands via Red Tail, Wren, and Pioneer (the same way you came in).
