The Dragonfly Trail has multiple paths and offshoots to take. There are some paths with steady inclines for the more adventurous. There is a cave with a low entrance to explore if you have a light and aren't worried about possible snakes and spiders. There are several area to see wildlife like pheasants, deer, coyotes, and more. The trail is located right in the foothills for great photography scenes.
There are some low, even footing paths and even a creek when the rains come through. The higher elevation path winds up into the mountains for some breathtaking views. Pack plenty of water and sunscreen. Dogs are welcome on leash. Horses and bikes are limited to certain parts of the trail only. Trails are clearly marked.
