Apache Wash Trail Loop

Start at the Apache Wash Trailhead and follow the Apache Wash Loop signs for a counter-clockwise loop ending with a short segment of the Ocotillo Trail. This route can also be taken clockwise starting with the Ocotillo Trail then turning on to the Apache Wash Loop.Most of the trail is hardpack with a few shallow, sandy washes thrown in to keep you focused on the trail. A lack of significant rocky or technical stretches make this a fast and fun loop.Several options exist for shortening the route, so keep your eyes out for the signs showing the connector trails if you want to take that option.
