Starting from Tillman street from the east, enjoy continuous trail, most concrete, through the many neighborhoods of Memphis. Along the way, observe the combination of greenery, flora, and wildlife in the urban setting. I highly recommend a detour into Shelby Farms to connect with more dirt trails, such as the local favorite, "Tour de Wolf," which will provide an extra 6 mile forested loop. This trail is a breath of fresh air for Memphis which largely lacks venues for hikers. Along the way, you'll cross rivers, hike through oak groves, and bypass this City's largest and most famous park. Biker and foot traffic is low during the week and moderate during the weekends.
