Description
Leaving the parking area you make your way down a singletrack trail bordering some interesting honey-combed rock formations on your left. The trail takes you to railroad tracks that you must cross to begin the Dogwood Loop trail. You may travel this loop in any direction for a different experience, but you'll have a few challenging hill climbs no matter what direction you choose. The Dogwood Loop Trail will border a cypress swamp for a portion of your route. After completing the loop, travel back to your starting place on the same trail to complete your 5-mile hike/run.
