From the parking lot of Pyramid Mountain County Park, exit the north end and cross Boonton Ave. Directly across the street is a sign stating "100 Steps Trail." The trail is marked with blue blazes. The trail follows the road for a short distance until it enters the forest, then exits onto a powerline. The trail is a bit overgrown here until you start to climb alongside the powerline, weaving in and out of the forest. When the trail becomes steep, you have reached the 100 Steps.
You'll top out at a high point under the powerline. Here the trail makes a sharp right turn. As you enter the forest, the trail begins to descend. You eventually will cross the Yellow Trail and a short distance after that, the trail ends on the White Trail.
This trail is often done as part of a loop hike with other trails in the park.
