Description
Starting off Route 113A (west end), opposite the Cabin Trail, the trail enters the woods and stays to the left of the Wonalancet River. The trail hits Bowles Trail/ Corridor #130, coincides with the trail right, left (after the bridge), then re-enters the woods at the top of the hill. Shortly after the Bowles Trail/ Corridor #130, the trail passes an old dam, a waterfall, and a mill. I went in the winter and this waterfall looked amazing. The trail below the waterfall is tricky and overgrown with Hobblebush. Just past the mill, the trail skirts right along the bank (this section is especially tricky to find). While the GPS track for this trail shows multiple river crossings, I can only remember the one over the bridge on the Bowles Trail/ Corridor #130. The trail follows an old logging(?) road along the south banks of the river, then climbs a steep little slope to an unnamed road. At the road, the trail turns left and follows it to a parking area (on the left). While this trail is shown on the White Mountain National Forest maps, it is outside the boundary of the National Forest.
