There and Back
The Bartlett River Trail starts out through northern rainforest, along the shoreline of Glacier Bay. Glimpses of Glacier Bay and its islands can be seen through the trees. It then veers away from the shoreline, and one finds themselves surrounded by forest - tall fir trees and lush ground cover vegetation. Everything is moist everywhere. Towards the end of Bartlett River Trail, it comes out of the forest next to the tidal flats of the Bartlett River. If one is lucky enough to have a clear day, views of the Fairweather Mountain Range can be seen in the distance.
