Cholla Mountain Loop Trail

You can get to this loop a number of different ways. This map shows entering the trail from Chuckwagon Trail and dipping up to the Amphitheater. There is a little climbing and a little downhill, but mostly it is just solid desert rolling. This trail is very enjoyable at the north end of the Preserve. The sign says watch out for snakes and scorpions. Ironic in the desert, eh??
