The Coolidge Trail begins as the easternmost trailhead at the 5-Points Junction. From here, you'll follow the trail as it gradually descends the hillside to the southeast. You'll hike on a series of switchbacks along the way and after a little over 9/10 of a mile, you'll reach a juncture with the Lower Beacon Trail, which diverges to the left. Continue straight to continue following the Coolidge Trail and after a large bend in the trail, you'll quickly come across the end of the trail at its intersection with Griffith Park Drive. At this point, you turn around to follow the same route back to the 5-Points Junction or link up with other nearby trails.
