Description
This trail starts at the corner of the commuter parking lot off of 384 and ends at the Hop River Rail Trail (Bolton Notch State Park). A little ways in, the trail splits between the Green Trail and Blue Trail, but both trails eventually merge again near the Hop River Rail Trail. The Blue Trail runs closer to the edge of Bolton Notch Pond, whereas the Green Trail is slightly deeper in the woods. Both trails are clearly marked, easy to follow, and great for running. Parking is available at the commuter lot, which also provides access to the Charter Oak Greenway (paved bike path along 384).
