Description
Mark Laughlin has already given a great general description of the area in Sheep Mountain Trail, although the GPS track for that trail does not end at the public access at the North Trailhead. Rather, it cuts downhill and west, leaving you on private land relatively far from Hwy 11. This trail is added specifically to describe accessing the trail via the North Trailhead, which is unmarked and generally difficult to locate. Rather than repeat excellent guidance already given by others I will share the description which guided me, provided by Roger Ludwig.
