Description
There is a trailhead at the North end of the campground. Essentially this hike is an out and back on the North Fork Trail with a figure 8. You can switch up the direction of the figure 8's if you would like. I wanted to get the climb up to Medicine Bow Peak done first. The hike did not have giant climbs. But I thought it had a lot of rolling hills which made it hard to get in a good rhythm. In late June there were patches of snow. The snow combined with a rocky trail made this a difficult hike.
