Description
This trail is a short loop that starts off of the far end of the Osage Orange Trail. There is good signage along all of the trails in Lake Tawakoni State Park, so navigation shouldn't pose any issues. The trail is mainly soft surface comprised of mostly hard packed sand with the occasional root, so keep your eyes open. About half way around the loop you will enjoy some quick views of Lake Tawakoni before you head back into the forest. This trail is heavily wooded and provides great shade on hot sunny days.
