Waterford Trail - River Park

The Waterford Trail at River Park begins at the semicircle at the end of Overview Drive. For approximately 0.5 miles, the trail is paved and circles around the golf course, passing behind the Waterford Golf Club. The trail then becomes a natural surface trail that follows the Catawba River for another 0.5 miles. The trail then turns away from the river to meander through a wooded area along Manchester Creek and crosses two bridges. The trail ends at the kayak/canoe launch at River Park, where users can continue onto the Wetland Trail - River Park or the River Trail - River Park.
