S. Mayde Creek Hike and Bike Path

This is a Harris County Parks multi-use trail along South Mayde Creek. The east end is located at the Cullen Park North Saums complex. The trail passes the South Mayde Creek Pocket Park. The major street crossing is at Greenhouse Road where there is a signalized pedestrian crossing. There are numerous neighborhood access points, and there is a trail bridge across the creek at Franz Road. The trail meanders mostly through an open mowed right of way along the bank of the creek. There is parking at Cullen Park. Smash and grab vehicle burglaries are common in the area, so bring your valuables with you, or leave them at home altogether.
