From the intersection with Robert Foote Trail #9047, head north on a sandy singletrack between the pines. Follow signs for Trail 9155 north on a relatively flat, sandy trail. Roughly 0.2 miles in, there is an intersection that is marked with a small cairn. Take the left (head north).
Shortly after an intersection with 9155B, there is a really nice twisting descent through some dense forest. Keep an eye out for a 12-18" log drop (fun times!), and the trail opens to a clear cut area. The trail then continues down with some great views of Lake Dillon to the intersection with Henry Recen Trail #9042 (There's no sign, but it's an obvious flume trail to your left).
This trail is fun in either direction. Mostly, it's sandy, so there are no footing issues.
