Upper DeLaveaga Loop Hike

The trailhead Upper DeLaveaga Loop can be found where the Enchanted Trail meets the golf course near the middle of DeLaveaga Park. This loop runs parallel to the golf course and hugs the edge of its boundary for about a half mile. It then drops down the side of the ridge before it cuts back toward the trailhead. This 1.5-mile dog-friendly trail takes you through oaks and groves of redwood trees. Traveling is easy going except for a few changes in elevation and some tree roots that can trip you. This trail can be slick when wet. Trails in DeLaveaga are well marked, so finding your way on this trail or any other one here is not an issue.
