Description
Start at the end of East Maringo Drive in Millwood, WA. Head upriver about a mile to a bridge crossing over to the south side of the Spokane River. Enjoy the view of strangely out of place rock islands on the left. Keep going upstream. Soon you'll go under East Trent Avenue and a railroad. A few miles and you duck under another railroad. Next, you slip under North Sullivan Road and continue east toward Idaho. The trail eventually snakes under North Barker Road and starts getting a bit desolate. Keep going upriver and under North Harvard Road. Now thread the needle as you squeeze in between Interstate 90 and the Spokane River until you go under East Appleway Avenue and Interstate 90. The trail joins an old railroad bed just west of the state line. Go left to the Idaho Boarder to continue your adventure on the North Idaho Centennial Trail.
