Description
The westside access point for Antoine Peak is also the maintenance access point for the radio towers on the summit. That means the trail is actually a doubletrack dirt road all the way to the summit and is generally well maintained. This trail is locally known as the Summit Trail. Visit in the spring for the fantastic arrowleaf balsamroot displays, or visit on a clear day for the excellent views of Spokane to the west, Spokane Valley to the south, and Liberty Lake to the southeast.
History & Background
Acquired in three phases through Conservation Futures funding, this Spokane County park is over 1,100 acres.
