Point to Point
This trail begins at the roadside parking lot on Route 156 and is one of the main trails in the park. After heading south for a short while, passing Green Trail, the trail passes a junction with Red Trail and turns westward. It continues, parallelling the road, and begins to descend.
This descent in some places can be steep. The trail then turns southward and continues to descend, but on a less steep slope. Here it passes through what the map and some signposts label as "Shipyard Field," but there is nothing truly interesting about this area. The trail then begins to climb as the ground becomes rockier.
For a short section, this trail double tracks with Red Trail before diverging. From this point to the end is the most notable section of the trail. Here some relatively large exposed rocks that form outcroppings overlooking the Four Mile River.
These outcroppings can be accessed by way of various unmarked social trails or Yellow Trail which loops off to the west of Blue Trail in this section. Additionally, a trail marked Blue/Yellow loops off of the Blue Trail here to the east toward a feature that is marked on the map as "Bakers Cave." Finally, this trail reaches its terminus on the park road slightly behind the park's main pavilion.
