Lutguk Trail

This trail also allows horses. The signed trailhead is next to the horse trailer parking and bathroom in the Ma-le'l Dunes south parking area. It is wide and sandy from high use. It provides a nearly flat route through the dunes to the beach with minimal swamp areas. Leave the lot heading west and follow it past the great variety of sand dune vegetation to the waterline right-of-way. Here, take the Lutguk Beach Connector Trail for quick access to the beach, or continue north along the waterline before turning once again to the beach.
