The trail starts when Squaw Peak Road reaches the pass between the Provo side of the road and The Hobble creek side of the road. There is a small loop where you can park. The road however is very rough and a 4 wheel drive is recommended.
The Trail starts out on a four-wheeler track and continues for about a quarter of a mile. Keep a look out for a large cairn. Follow the small trail marked by the cairn up the ridge. Trees and scrub let way to steep rocks and dirt. The trail remains steep all of the way to the summit.
