There and Back
This is an extremely short walk to the base of the falls. It's a fun area to see and is great for kids of all ages as long as parents keep a close eye on their kids. The rocks can be slick if they play in the water. We have used the area to sight see as well as rappel a portion of the fall. This is the highest natural waterfall in Utah at over 600 total feet. You can walk to the base of the falls and play in the water. Keep a close eye on your kids here. In the old days there used to be a tram that would take you to a restaurant high in the cliffs above the falls. The tram was destroyed by an avalanche in 1996 when the old restaurant turned into a daring climb to see the burned and vandalized old structure. These structures have since been removed from the cliffs.
