The trail may be closed during the Wilds sponsored Spartan Race. Check www.thewilds.org for more information. This area is closed to hunting; however, visitors should be aware during whitetail deer season (usually the week after Thanksgiving) as hunters have been know to trespass and hunt in this area illegally.

The trail heads primarily through wooded hills with a couple of nice lake views. One of the nicest views of the entire trail system is where 3 Mile and High Wall meet at Marker #6.
