Greenwood/Scenic River Trail Classic

From the Scenic River Trail trailhead, proceed for several minutes until you reach signs designating the continuation of the Scenic River and the Greenwood Trail. Either choice will take you on the loop. Both trails are similar in terms of terrain and elevation, although the Greenwood Trail portion is more than twice as long. A segment of the extensive North Country Trail is accessible off the Greenwood Trail, designated by blue diamond tree markers. Also, there is an optional out and back section on the Scenic River Trail (2 miles total) when you reach the end of Greenwood Trail. Otherwise, keep right at the fork to continue the loop to its completion.
