Description
Lower Cascade Falls Trail is a short, moderately busy out and back trail located on 8th Avenue in downtown Ouray, CO. In less than .5 miles, there is a beautiful waterfall and a bench to sit down, relax, and enjoy the view. There is ample parking at Cascade Falls Park, with a few picnic tables. Due to snow, access may be limited between November and February. From the trailhead, follow the path next to the stream, and it will lead you up to the falls. From there, you can continue back a short ways to the main trail and climb steep terrain to the Amphitheater Campground and a junction with the Upper Cascade Falls Trail #213.
