Description
Start uphill from the parking lot, and when the trail splits, keep right to get to the viewpoint. There really isn't a right way to the top (very rocky), but as usual try and stick to the trail to avoid overpacking around the already packed path. When coming back down, if you want to make it just a bit longer through the wooded forest, turn right again on that original split. The trail will split again to a much longer hike but if you want to keep it under 2 miles, turn left at the final split. This is a great little hike for those that don't want to hike too much elevation change (which is common for other trails around the lake).
