Path Type
Loop
As the name suggests, this trail makes a loop through the Horse Hill Nature Preserve. Follow the white blazes and/or signs. jThe surface is generally easy with only a small amount of the rocks so typical for New England trails. The loop starts off on a gravel road, but by the time it splits is a bit narrower. The trail winds through the forest passing ponds and swamps (there are numerous bridges so you shouldn't worry too much about getting wet feet). The wonderful part about this hike is that there are several side trails you can take if you want to shorten/lengthen your hike. You can also take a couple side trails to reach the top of Horse Hill and Blodget Hill.
