Point to Point
Visitors seeking ample views of Horsetooth Falls won't want to miss out on this short trail. Beginning from the southern terminus at an intersection with the Horsetooth Rock Trail, follow this path as it branches to the east. You'll find yourself winding to the north while descending to a small drainage. You'll notice that the dry prairie grasses turn to more lush vegetation as you approach the creek bottom.
There will be a small bridge crossing, and then you'll be working your way up to the falls. The going is steep in places, so even though the last half of the trail is less than a mile long, you'll still be burning plenty of energy! Once you reach the falls, the effort will be worth it. Even on this short route, you'll feel as though you've gotten into the mountains, and the views are lovely.
Once you've finished enjoying the falls, you can turn back the way you came or connect with the Spring Creek Trail for a longer loop.
