Description
This paved path is an excellent option for getting out for some exercise while staying close to town. It's also a great way to connect to some of the local dirt trails. The trail winds through the forests and mines above Leadville and has interpretive signs outlining some of the history of the area. Along the section by the public library, the signs host a childrens book story that rotates about once a month (the stories are almost always in both English and Spanish).
