Description
This is usually done as an out and back. Park at the dam and follow the Turquoise Lake Trail along the lake to Mayqueen Campground. It's a great trail to acclimate due to the minimal elevation gain and nice climbs. If you are looking for a shorter and quieter out-and-back adventure on this trail park at the Tabor Boat Ramp and head west to Mayqueen (8.3 mile out and back).
