From the parking lot, the trail begins by going through a very sandy ravine between two rock outcroppings. At the right time of day, these will offer some welcome shade from the sun. The trail descends about 150 feet in the first quarter mile down to an opening with the former movie set (The Professionals, 1966), although there is not much left of the actual set. There are some steps and uneven rocky surfaces. The trail then loops around the backside of the larger rock outcropping back to the parking lot.

Great trail with lots of beautiful views. There’s some scrambling at the beginning so bring good shoes. Bring water as well
