Sandy Run Park

"Sandy Run Park leads its visitors through the heart of Kitty Hawk Woods Coastal Preserve, one of the largest maritime forests remaining in North Carolina." A short half mile loop around a pond with a fishing area and gazebos with canoe and kayak piers. Mostly board walk the back is crushed gravel. A multi-use paved bike trail runs along woods road, is accessible from Sandy Run parking lot and provides for a longer run option.
