Description
Follow the blue diamonds, interpretive signs, or acorn blazes. This trail starts off Pond Trail and climbs moderately on a road grade to its crossing of the Lower Bridle Path. The trail continues its moderate ascent to a small lookout point. I believe the sign said that Peregrine Falcons frequent this lookout. From the lookout, the trail descends to a dip, then slightly ascends to a hemlock grove. The trail descends over a couple of switchbacks to a 3-way junction. To the right sends you down to the Turtleback Mountain Trail; forward and left also sends you down to the Turtleback Mountain Trail. Here, there is also a small path (on the left) to the Witham Cellarhole.
