Description
Be ready for a steady climb if taking this trail from the Y Trailhead. The first part of Slide Canyon Trail is a very popular route as it is the primary trail that the local hikers use to access the "Y" monument on the hillside above town. At the top of the "Y", the trail changes to a narrow singletrack that will continue on through varied terrain. At just over 3 miles, the trail connects to the Slate Canyon Trail #061. The trail then continues on to its endpoint at Squaw Peak Road.
