The Newberry Trail is a mellow paved path traveling east-west through the southern part of Appleton. Starting at the terminus of the CE Trail, it follows alongside a neighborhood before trending east to follow open grasslands along the river. Eventually, the trail passes a few major thoroughfares before reaching its end near South Island.
