Description
Ricketty starts at the low end just south of the intersection of FS Road 2060 and Horn Gap Road and begins a gentle ascent on a relatively open ridge. It then joins the remnants of an old logging road where it begins an increasingly steep climb into a denser forest area with a mix of madrone, pines, firs, and cedars. Ricketty emerges at FS Road 2060 near the intersection with FS Road 2060-400, which leads to the No Candies trail. Hikers will appreciate the shorter route to FS Road 400 as Ricketty shaves off over a mile.
