Lake Trail

Leave the Perch Lake Shelter and stay to the right at the intersection with Ridge Trail. The Lake Trail follows the lakeshore and you cross over the cross country ski trail on a 4-foot wide wooden bridge. The trail steadily climbs up and away from the lake until it intersects with Ridge Trail. From this intersection, multiple hiking options are available by either turning left onto Ridge Trail or going straight to Kathy's Loop. Lake, Ridge, and Kathy's Loop make a great route for beginners.
